Our southern excursion heads towards our first must-see stop to Baia dell’Orte, our very famous Lago di bauxite or Lago rosso – red lake. We will stop here for our first swim and also we take our own time to admire this heaven place.
We will proceed and head down in the direction of Punta Palascia and its lighthouse: Time will appear to have stopped, and gives us the opportunity to see these magical surroundings with our own eyes. We continue to sail south and on our approach visit Torre Sant’Emiliano: we will see a tower rise up, located more or less at 50mt from sea level. It rises as if to dominate all this area, surronded by a pristine landscape.

On return, we will freshen up with an aperitif offered on board by the captain: traditional Salento dishes, easy to enjoy on the boat, and essential to fuel yourself for the rest of the day.
